Log in to your chosen Sense website, and select the Submit Link option from the My Senses menu.

The form to submit new links to the website is very simple:

• Name: The name of the website or sub-section of the website.
  
  If you enter a subsection name, please indicate the name of the website too, e.g. The Clearing at Spiritsense or Mothersense Classifieds.


• Section: If I have developed the website properly, you should only see one entry in the list - the Sense website name. Please select it. I'm sorry that I have disabled the ability for you to post links to many sites at once, but I needed to ensure that it wasn't abused by companies and individuals who spam online forms with irrelevant links.


• Website URL: Please enter the full URL of the page you wish users to view. This should normally be the website homepage or a major subpage at the head of a section. The normal format is something like http://www.worldofsense.com - if you are in doubt as to what you should type, please visit the page you are telling us about, and copy and paste the address into the Website URL box.
  
  How?
  

  • Go to the page you are linking to.
  
  
  • At the top of your browser, there is a long address starting with 'http' or 'https'.
  
  
  • Select the whole line of text, taking extra care if it is so long that it scrolls out of view. You can select it by clicking anywhere on the text, then (on your computer keyboard) holding down the 'ctrl' key (Mac users, hold down the key with the apple on it), and (still on your keyboard) pressing the 'a' key. Let go of all the keys.
  
  
  • Next, copy the text. Hold down the 'ctrl' key (or 'apple' key) again, and press the 'c' key. Let go of all the keys.
  • Go straight to my form for adding links and paste the text into the Website URL box. Do this by clicking in the box, then holding down the 'ctrl' key (or 'apple' key), and pressing 'v'. Let go of all the keys.
  
  
  • Double-check that the text still looks as it did when it was in your browser window. If in doubt, ask me for help via the Contact Form.

• Description: Write a sentence describing what the site is about, then a second one to list some features worth seeing.


• Just above the form, there are two icons on the right-hand side. Clicking on the first will save the link so that anyone visiting the relevant Sense website or the Portal will be able to find it. Clicking on the second icon, marked with a cross, will cancel your entry and any information you entered in the form will be discarded.
