It's me, Wendy. It costs a lot of money to run all the list servers and web servers associated with World of Sense, not to mention the real world events. All the funds are currently coming out of my pocket and so, sooner or later, all my savings are going to disappear.

I have formed World of Sense Limited to help ease this financial burden, as I am determined that the resources on the websites will always be completely free to access. The Shop sells quality products and services I hope you will be interested in and it has been a real labour of love to produce some and find others for you. In time, I hope that I will have a large enough customer base so I can earn a little profit to cover the websites but, in the meantime, I am excited enough about the products themselves to be happy just to break even! Quite a few people have told me I should allow donations through the website. I'll think about doing this too, but would rather give such kind folk something tangible in return, hence the shop.

The products in the shop are ethically traded, and sale of the goods helps to provide an income to a variety of small businesses and individuals around the world. Many of them don't have the funds to start up their own shop, so it's a way of bringing their goods to market. In the longer term, I also hope to be able to give jobs to people directly through World of Sense Limited.
